Pillar — compact grid, 1 column on mobile, 2 on tablet, up to 4 across at desktop (capped at 4 even when there are more items — additional rows wrap). Best for 3+ people when scale beats individual emphasis.
Content length
Bios run as long as needed in this port. The v4 source ships an
ExpandableContent wrapper that collapses to four lines
with a "Read more" toggle; we haven't re-implemented that yet, so
long bios will simply lay out in full. Keep bios under ~80 words
until the collapse lands.

Portraits render at aspect-ratio: 3 / 2. The block does
no cropping — supply images already framed for that ratio (or
accept the auto-fit cover behavior on whatever you provide).
